On November 3rd, Weng Yu, Director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the Institute of Science and Technology of Zhejiang University and deputy director of the Institute of Industrial Technology Transformation, Professor Yu Xiaoli from the School of Energy Management, associate professors Huang Yuqi and Wei Jianjian visited Sanhua Industrial Park in Hangzhou for technical exchange of innovative projects. Dr. Huang Ningjie, Chief scientist of Sanhua Holding Group, Dr. Zhang Rongrong, chief Technology Officer of Sanhua Academia Sinica and other company leaders received and exchanged information.

In the exhibition hall of the company, Dr. Zhang Rongrong introduced the integrated module of the thermal management system of new energy vehicles to the guests in detail, including the constituent structure, working principle and development difficulties of each module. Different from the four major plates of traditional vehicles, new energy vehicles have more space for innovation.

The guests carefully listened to the introduction, expressed optimism about the development prospect of new energy vehicles, and affirmed the strategic decision of Sanhua to choose new energy vehicle thermal management. In addition, the guests had on-site discussions with the Sanhua team on products such as micro-channel heat exchanger, superconducting dish and quartz heating tube, and the atmosphere of technical exchange was strong.

In the communication session of the meeting, Dr. Huang Ningjie introduced that the thermal management of new energy vehicles and energy storage is an important strategic business of Sanhua at present. Sanhua will take "green, low carbon and energy saving" as the key words of development, and with reference to the international Paris Agreement and the domestic "double carbon" target, in 20-30 years, it will achieve 40% carbon reduction in manufacturing energy utilization. Apart from technical business, Sanhua sets up a special "foreign cooperation platform", actively participates in the revision of domestic and foreign regulations and standards, and further facilitates the high-quality development of the industry.
